Wayne White

White, W. Alan “Al”, 60, was carried home into the arms of God on May 27, 2017 from River Pines in Altoona. He married Jerrene on July 8, 1995, and they enjoyed 21 blissful years together.

Born in Loma Linda, CA on June 22, 1956, he was the son of George and Marge White. He graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 1974, and got his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. He worked for IBM as a Technical Support Professional for SCA.
Al was the treasurer and a board member of Faith Church in Eau Claire, WI. He enjoyed hiking in the mountains, playing World of Warcraft with his sons, spending time at home, and traveling with his wife. He loved creative endeavors, reading books, and fellowship with people of like-minded faith. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his unshakable faith in God, his love for his family, his wisdom, and his kind, gentle spirit.

Al is survived by his wife, Jerrene; an adopted daughter, Kathy (Kevin) Kaske; a daughter, Amanda (Uriah) Peterson; two sons, Eric White and Ryan (Sarah) White; two grandchildren, Colin and Callista Kaske; mother, Marge Murray; three siblings, Marlene Dokken, Neal (Sara) White, and Diane (Jim) Wendt; and an adopted sister, Adrianne (Matt) Isenberg.

He was preceded in death by his father, George; his first wife, Janae; and his nephew, Michael.
The celebration of his life will be held at Faith Church at 3431 Fear St, Eau Claire, WI on June 2 at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation starting at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
