Vickie Ellen Holmen, age 69 of Black River Falls, WI passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 in Black River Falls with her family by her side.
She was born on October 14, 1951 in Joplin, MO to William and Ellen Simmons.
Vickie was a spunky, hard working woman who enjoyed caring for others. She loved to joke around. Vickie had a love for horses and other animals.
She will be remembered for being a loving and caring person.
Vickie is survived by her sons: Paul D. Holmen and Steven Simmons; a daughter Leellen Holmen; brothers: Terry (Susan) Simmons and Steve (Jody) Simmons; her ex-husband Paul A. Holmen; and other family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents and a son David Simmons.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
