Velda Solberg

Velda E. Solberg of Pewaukee WI, passed on January 6, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was born to Harry and Lena Veness on June 4, 1933 in Weirgor, Wisconsin. She also had three sisters, Avis, Arlyle and Leah.
Velda and Floyd Solberg celebrated their special day of marriage on June 28, 1952. They had three
wonderful children Larry, Susan and Nancy.
Some of her favorite things to do were crocheting, tatting, knitting and playing solitaire. Later in life when she wasn't able to do handiwork, she loved jigsaw puzzles and visits from her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great- great grandson.
When she was able to show her 10-year-old great granddaughter how to crochet only a few days before her passing, she glowed of passion and happiness.
Velda is survived by her three children: Larry J Solberg, Susan (John) Kolupar and Nancy (Jerry) Bentley; 7
grandchildren: Adam Solberg, Tammy (Jeff) Gollner, Trevor (Rose) Kolupar, Heidi (Thomas) Dietrich,
Brian (Jessie) Bailey, Rebecca (Mike) Anderson and Scott Bailey; 15 great-grandchildren: Brynn Solberg,
Blayne Solberg, Kelsey Kolupar, Colton Gollner, Finn Kolupar, Beckham Kolupar, Teagan Dietrich, Remi
Dietrich, Avery Butler, Ashlyn York, Dylan York, Brooklyn Anderson, Bryson Anderson, Katrina Bailey, Chase Bailey; and 1 great-great grandson William Lasiewicz.
Preceding her in death are her parents Harry and Lena Veness, sisters Avis, Leah and Arlyle and her husband Floyd.
The family would like to thank Aurora Zilber Family Hospice and all others for the heart filled care that was given to Velda.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
