Valli Hurd

Valli Jean Hurd, age 75 of Cameron, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. She was born in Eau Claire on February 10, 1949, to the late Burdell and Goldie Howard.

Valli loved her flowers especially dandelions from her grand kids. She enjoyed looking up recipes on line, raising animals, gardening, canning, surfing the internet and playing games with her grand kids. She talked with Sherri, Michelle and George on a daily basis. She enjoyed her Sundays as a Jehovah witness.

She is survived by her children: Michelle Marshall, Tonya (Jason) Severson, Corie Ottum and Travis (Joann) Ottum; grandchildren: Trevor, David, Dusty, Natasia, Alisha, Wesley, Caitlyn, Taylor, Jordan, Dominic, Damien and Alyssa; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Sherri Davis; sisters-in-law: Jane Howard and Carol Howard: and former husbands Marshall Ottum and George Hurd. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers Chuck and Fred, and brother-in-law Buck Davis.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona.
