Todd Badciong

August 21, 1966 — January 3, 2025

Todd Randall Badciong was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a friend to many. Todd R Badciong unexpectedly passed away Friday, January 3rd at the young age of 58. Todd was born in West Allis, WI on August 21st, 1966. The family then moved to Denton, TX until he was the age of 13 then relocating to Eau Claire, WI. It was then he met his lifelong best friend Bill Hazuga and his future wife Lisa Hazuga. Twenty-five years later, Todd finally asked Lisa out on a date which she graciously accepted. Todd and Lisa were together for 25 wonderful years and built a beautiful life that included 5 kids and 10 grandchildren.

Ever heard of Superman? What about Marvel? Maybe a Blue Superman hoodie? We know everyone that knew Todd is picturing him right now in a what? His favorite sweatshirt with his favorite superhero, cracking jokes, pestering the love of his life for shear entertainment for all was priceless. Todd also loved fishing, cooking, and watching movies with his family. A true love for capturing the moment at that exact time is why Todd enjoyed traveling with his family. Sightseeing, local festivities, and especially their trip to Arizona. He knew immediately where he would be retiring. Ever sense any of us can remember, Todds major desire was to own his own pool table and play until the felt burns out. Two years ago, his desire turned into a reality. He was now a proud owner of his first pool table and let me tell you, he has every size pool cue for every kind of shot and why he used that cue, why he hit that ball into that pocket, less or more English, he got it, you should.

Todd was the rock we needed for our family and the kind of person you could count on for anything. He was a content, caring, whimsical, and a hardworking man that truly never took anyone or anything for granted. Todd provided and gave everyone a sense of security, peace, and genuine love. Todd also had another side that most would describe as "it's just Todd" side. Goofy, carefree at only appropriate times, a man that works for a living and provides for the ones he loves. A man that when he takes a vacation, he takes a vacation. That is time he gets to spend with the ones he loves the most without care in the world. Todd was the kind of a man that would be considered an in this moment man. If he could be described with one quote it would be, "If It's not broke, don't fix it." Todd was always there with advice, a helping hand, and moral support needed or not.

If opposites truly attract, this would be Todd and Lisa in a nutshell. The profound affection that Todd and Lisa had for one another is unmatched and truly inspirational. Every conversation ended with an "I Love You" no matter what was going on. If they did not have their hello or goodbye kiss, Todd would always ask, "What no kiss?" Flowers, favorite candies, and little love notes are just a few things Todd did that Lisa treasured and could never be replicated. Todd and Lisa were viewed as one day in and day out, inseparable, and their home was filled with love and care.
