On November 8, 2024, Tim Hatleli passed away at Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire, WI, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Eau Claire, Tim was known for his big heart and fierce loyalty, especially toward his family.
Tim's greatest pride was his daughter, Micheala (Dylan) Bloczynski, and his three grandchildren, Gauge Cronk, Axle Cronk, and Ellie Bloczynski. He cherished his roles and dedicated his life to love, laughter, and inspiring strength through every challenge he faced.
A devoted Minnesota Vikings fan, Tim's passion for his team was one of the brightest parts of his life. Sundays were sacred, filled with energy and excitement as he hosted family and friends to watch every Vikings game. His home transformed into a gathering place, where laughter and spirited debates marked every win and loss. His nephews Mason and Levi and close friend Keith were his loyal game-day companions, sharing every triumph and heartbreak on the field. Tim's unwavering Viking pride inspired others, and his love for the team left a lasting legacy with memories of him decked out in purple and gold, cheering as if he were right on the sidelines.
Beyond football, Tim loved classic country music, often found singing along to his favorites or strumming his guitar. His early passion for dirt biking blossomed into a lifelong love of motorcycles, and he could always be counted on for a thrilling ride. He was also an animal lover, sharing a special bond with his beloved dog and "partner in crime," Rumble, who never left his side.
The family wishes to extend special gratitude to Tim's niece, Lisa, for her unwavering support, care, and kindness over the years. Her steadfast presence, especially through the final stages of Tim's illness, brought comfort and strength to him and to all who loved him.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Gilbert and Raymond Hatleli; his stepfather, Roy Gilbert; his sister, Danita Roberts; his brothers, Raymond "Skeeter" Hatleli Jr. and Daniel Hatleli; and his fiancé, Linda Devney. He is survived by his daughter, Micheala (Dylan) Bloczynski; his grandchildren, Gauge, Axle, and Ellie; and his siblings, Rhonda (William) Iversen, Jocelyn (Lenny) Hatleli, Randy Hatleli, Kelly (DiAnna) Hatleli, Tony (Cathy) Hatleli, Blane Hatleli, and Kendra Hatleli, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
