Thomas Jack Perry, 86 of Eau Claire died on September 2, 2017 at Dove-West in Eau Claire.
He was born to Lawrence and Helen (Larson) Perry in Eau Claire on September 6, 1930. He worked for Pope and Talbot for 42 years. Thomas enjoyed the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. He also enjoyed spending time at the Casino. He served as a Marine in the Korean War from January 31, 1952 until January 30, 1954, he received Korean Service Medal with Three Stars, Purple Heart, and National Defense Service Medal.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Kim Perry of Chippewa Falls, son, Timothy “Tim” Perry of FL; grandchildren: Tanya Perry, Dustin Dodson; three great grandchildren: Isabella, Tymberly, and Javaehana; siblings: Florence Fenney of Sliddel, LA, Ranita Jensen of Eau Claire, Richard Perry (Betty) of Coon Rapids, MN, Margaret Cockeram of Eau Claire, Harold (Jo Ann) Perry of Eau Claire, and Patricia (John) Hartmanstorfer of Racine; friends: Evelyn Ruf and Jeannie Perry; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Carmella, daughter, Connie; siblings: Barbara Weston, Lois Tiry, Janice Zanow, Marshall, Joyce and Raymond Perry; step son, Ricky Torgerson.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Stokes, Prock, and Mundt Funeral Chapel, Altoona at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Peter Bredlau officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service. Burial will be held at the Lutheran Cemetery.
