Thomas Minot

Thomas Anthony Minot, 85, of Eau Claire passed peacefully October 16, 2018 at Cornell Health Services in Cornell, WI under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice.

Tom was born May 15, 1933 to the late Alex and Martha Minot. He was raised in the Blue Hills of Bruce. He loved creating things with his hands, especially wood-working. Tom also took delight in using his metal detector. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and camping, he was also a member of a gold panning club. In his spare time he liked to watch Wisconsin sports, golf and news.

He is survived by his wife Patricia of 59 years; sons, Mike (Kathy) Minot, Corey (Jamie) Minot and Kevin (Patricia) Minot; grandchildren, Evan, Briana, Hailey, Duke, Elias, Walter, Ellowyn and Ernie Minot; brother Paul Minot; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Tom was preceded in death by his brother Ed Minot and sister Mary Wenzloff.

There will be a Celebration of Life Saturday October 20, 2018 from 1-4 P.M. at Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Chapel at 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway in Altoona, WI.
