Thomas Paul Hebert joined the angels and saints on February 7th, 2025. He was born to Julius Hebert and Mary (Lotz) Hebert on May 17th, 1944.
He proudly served in the United States Army after receiving his draft notice on his 21st birthday. During his tour he received the Bronze Star for his meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces as part of the 1st Cavalry Division. After his tour of service in Viet Nam, he married Doris M. Jacak on November 18th, 1967 and they enjoyed 57 years of marriage before his return to his Heavenly Father.
Tom worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, where he was a lab technician and later a meat inspector until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and there was always a home improvement show on the TV.
He joined his mother, father, brother William Hebert, his Aunt Rose Lotz, his sister-in-law Marie Thull, parents in law, Sylvester and Elizabeth Jacak, and several more upon his return to God. He is survived by his wife Doris, three children, Renae (Richard), Nicolle, and Thomas John (Beth); seven grandchildren, Rebecca (Travis), Samantha (Derek), Mitchel (Kyrstan), James (Kali), Madison (Ryan), Emma, Matthew, and three grand puppies, and three great-grand puppies. He is also survived by his brothers; Rick (Diane) and Jack (Carol), Sister-in-law Marilyn, as well as Sister-in-law, Diane (Steve) Liegl, Patricia (Thomas) Hron, and brother-in-law Richard Thull and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, and one very special car.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, "weeds" as Thomas called them, that you make donations to the Earth Sciences Foundation Inc. Group.
