Thomas Capuzzi

Thomas Capuzzi, age 89, of Cumberland Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 23, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy, parents Anna and Pasquale, siblings, John, Marion, Alice, Betty, Christy, Raymond, Donald, Allen (Pat), and Doris.
Thomas is survived by his children, David Capuzzi (Donna), Daniel Capuzzi, Donna Texley (Scott), Diane Williams (Rick), his grandchildren, Jenna, Jamie, Daniel, Ryan, Zachary and Joshua, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, siblings, Fred, Caroline and Rodney.
Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He served proudly in the US Army and in the Korean War. Thomas worked as a Master Plumber for Grudem Brothers Mechanical Contractors out of St Paul, MN for his entire career, retiring in 1997 at 62.
Thomas resided on the family farm in Cumberland after retiring, where he started his second career, and lifelong love, as a farmer. Thomas loved farming, gardening, his flower gardens and feeding and watching the birds from his kitchen table. Thomas was a handyman’s handyman and believed he could fix anything and everything. At the end of the day, he enjoyed watching the sun go down on his farm and would say, “Life doesn’t get any better than this!”
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 24 th , at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cumberland WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 -11:00, service at 11:00, graveside service following church service with a luncheon to follow.
