Tammy Gordon

April 20, 1976 — December 31, 2023

Tammy L. (Grossen) Gordon, 47 years old, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away unexpectedly at Hennepin County Medical Center on Sunday, December 31, 2023.  Tammy was born in Monroe, WI on April 20, 1976, the daughter of Joan (Lawver) Pickett and Kenny Grossen.  Tammy graduated from Monroe High School in 1994.  After high school, Tammy earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from UW-Eau Claire.  She had several jobs over the years, including waitressing, bartending, Wisconsin DNR, CCF Bank and most recently she was in corporate customer service at Curt Mfg.

In 2003, Tammy met her husband Jerry Gordon, and two years later they welcomed their son Connor.  Tammy and Jerry were united in marriage on August 2, 2008 in Eau Claire, WI.

Tammy’s amazing smile touched everyone she was ever associated with.  She was always there to help others and regularly volunteered her time at benefits for friends and with local clubs and organizations.  Her love for family and friends may never be topped.  She was the glue and did her best to attend everything possible.  She loved camping with the “FRAMILY”, family pool parties, fishing, turkey, bear hunting, going to the family cabin, and attending numerous Ark Gals & Pals gatherings.  Tammy was usually the last one to arrive, with roadie cooler in hand, and the last one to leave a campfire or go to bed.

Tammy enjoyed watching her son and nephews play sports, and supported her niece and nephews by attending most of their events as they grew up to become amazing young adults.  She was a passionate cheerleader at football and baseball games, and you could pick her voice out of a crowd.

Tam my is survived by husband, Jerry; son Connor; faithful companion Ginger; parents, Joan (Gary) Pickett, Browntown; father Kenny Grossen, Monroe; brother Scott (Brenda) Grossen, Browntown; sisters Cindy (Brian) Maguire, Bixby, OK; Sara Linse, Modena; father-in-law Jim Gordon, Altoona; sister-in-law Marsha (Rick) Bresina, Cadott; niece, nephews, many relatives, and great friends.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Walter and Helen Grossen, maternal grandparents, Glen and Donna Lawver, brother-in-law Jon Linse, mother-in-law Barb Gordon.
