Steven Lynn Peckham passed away September 22nd, 2023. He was born at Fort Polk, Louisiana on February 1st, 1954.
Moving around was part of military life until 1964, when the family settled in Spooner, WI. He loved sports, the outdoors, sports and being outside.
Steve was an exceptionally gifted high school athlete. He continued to participate in sports outside of high school. His love of sports continued later into life and when he no longer participated in them directly, he enjoyed watching and being a fan. The other passion in his life was his love for the outdoors. He could often be found fishing on any water he could gain access to, summer or winter. In his later years, when he couldn’t be outdoors, Steve loved reading. Especially histories, biographies and autobiographies.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Louise Peckham and brother Mike.
He is survived by his brother, Ron and his wife Casey, and sisters, Karen Broome and Linda Peckham; nieces: Sara, Kenzie and Kimberly. He is also survived by a son Eric Stouffer; grandchildren: Kelsie, Kyelie, Natalie, and Samual; and great grandchildren Danny Jr. Seazynn.
