Steven J. Drung, age 73 of Cadott, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. He was born on March 14, 1950 to the late Harold and Avis Drung.
Steve graduated from Memorial High School in 1968 and worked at Walter’s Brewery and Chippewa Springs Water.
He loved his dog Brandy, his camper up on the Chippewa Flowage near Hayward, fishing, hunting and utving. Steve enjoyed making bird houses, fixing things and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include his brothers: Jeff (Roxie) and David (Debbie); a sister Kay (Kris) Kruckman; 5 nieces; 4 nephews; other relative and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Inurnment will be at 3:30 at Rest Haven Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Carlson officiating.
