Sharron Manser

Sharron L. Manser, 80, of Rhinelander, WI passed away on December 15, 2021 in Eau Claire, WI surrounded by her family.

Sharron was born on September 28, 1941 in Rib Mt, WI, to Herman and Vivian Aschebrook. Sharron grew up in the town of Rib Mt. and graduated from Wausau High School in 1958. Sharron married Wes Manser on March 10, 1962 and they lived in Wausau until retiring to their lake home in 1994. Sharron and Wes owned the Den Mar Bar in Wausau. Sharron had a way of making everyone feel welcome. She enjoyed meeting, helping, and feeding everyone. She made sure everyone had a warm meal, especially on holidays. Many enjoyed her BBQ and lemon cake.

Sharron and Wes retired and had many fun years being “snowbirds” in Florida. They returned to Rhinelander and Sharron started working at Walmart. She made many new friends and enjoyed helping in many departments. She officially retired in 2015 when she was 74.

Sharron is survived by her husband, Wes, of 59 years; her daughters: Terri (Ron), Kim (Dale), and Sherri (Jeryl); her granddaughters: Kasandra (Max) and Carlee Jo (Josh); and her great grandchildren: Wesley and Noelle, who were the pride and joy of her life. She loved her family and she loved walking her dog Pippi. She is also survived by two sister-in-laws: Phyllis and Carol; brother-in-law: Tom; many nieces and nephews; and two very good friends: Linda and Deb.

Sharron is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings: Orville, Lyle, Phyllis, and Arleigh; her niece Denise; and good friend Ozzie.

A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
