Sharon Granger left this world on Tuesday, March, 22, 2022 at the age of 75. Sharon was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Sharon was born on November, 13, 1946 and raised in Somerset, Wisconsin where she met her high school sweetheart, John Granger. John and Sharon were married and enjoyed many wonderful years together with their two daughters.
Sharon enjoyed crafting, games and puzzles; camping and trips to Alaska, Colorado, the Dakotas, and Disneyworld with her family; movies with her daughters and friends; shopping with her mother, sister and daughters; garage saling with her daughter and granddaughter; and “doing lunch not having lunch”.
Sharon also loved cooking meals and baking desserts for her family and friends on weekends, holidays and other special occasions. Many generations would gather around her table for a meal and to enjoy each other's company.
Sharon was a caregiver to both her parents and her husband. When she fell ill herself, she leant a sympathetic ear to hospital and nursing home staff, Meals on Wheels volunteers, in-home nurses, and anyone else needing someone to talk to.
She was preceded in death by her parents Prosper and Leona Harvieux, her husband John, and her two dogs Tina and Whiskey. She is survived by her five siblings, daughters Wendy (Payson) and Dana (Granger-Daniel) and grandchildren Annemarie, Keiara and Quentin.
A service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 6, 2022 at the Spooner Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, please donate to Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta Health & Rehabilitation and Eau Claire County Meals on Wheels.
