Sandra Kay Shoemaker, age 69 of Osseo, WI, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire.
Sandy was born in Black River Falls, WI on May 6, 1951 to Eugene and Mildred (Holm) Doud. She graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1969. After high school, Sandy worked for Norwood Mills in Janesville. She met her husband Archie in 1970. They married a year later in Dakota, Minnesota. They found the home of their dreams just outside of Osseo where they raised their family.
Sandy was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. What she cherished and loved most in life was her family, which she will be missed by dearly.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Archie; 3 sons: Archie (significant other Cassie), Lee (significant other Ellen) and Sam (significant other Mary and her son Jett); daughter Lessie (significant other Trever); granddaughter Amber; great-grandson Gavin; brothers: Kevin (Lisa), Garret (Lisa), Sheldon (Sharon) and Martin (Ann); a sister Bonnie; and many other family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter-in-law Donna Shoemaker; brother-in-laws: Gary Potter, Bruce and Dan Shoemaker; and her sister-in-law Mary Shoemaker.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
