Sandra D. Marr, age 85 of Chippewa Falls passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, February 5, 2024. She was born on August 6, 1938 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Orville and Ruth (Ross) Werts.
She was previously married to Thurlow (Ted) Broomfield and Dennis O’Donahoe.
On March 30, 1980, she married Patrick (Pete) Marr in San Diego, CA. This year they would have been married 44 years.
Sandra lived in numerous cities throughout the years. They included, San Diego, CA and surrounding communities (9 yrs. overall), Skippers, VA (2 yrs.), Reno, NV (3 yrs.), Rockford, Ill (25 yrs.), Ontario, NY (3 yrs.), Phoenix, AZ (1 yr), Los Lunas, NM (2 yrs), Elizabethtown, PA (13 yrs.), Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls (20 yrs.).
She is survived by her husband Patrick; daughters: Rebecca Weinstein of Camarillo, CA and Michelle Johnson of New Auburn; son: Daniel O’Donahoe of Tilden; step-son Derrick George of Eau Claire; grandchildren: Lucas Turner of Phoenix, AZ, Sandra Corral, and Mary Reily all of Minden, NV, Esther Reily of Reno, NV, Nick Staack of Duluth, MN, Jared Johnson and Carter Johnson of Mondovi, Tessica O’Donahoe of Eau Claire and Douglas O’Donahoe of LaCrosse and John Reily VI of Seattle, WA; great-grandchildren: Madeleine Turner of Phoenix, AZ, Taviah O’Donahoe and Keyella (Keke) O’Donahoe of Eau Claire and River Rose Corral of Minden, NV; brothers: Stephen Douglass of Lake Elsinore, CA and Mike Werts of Clearwater, MN; sisters: Bonnie Hawkes of Leigh, Manchester, UK, Mickey Werts and Sissy Werts both of Minneapolis, MN.
She is preceded in death by mother and step-father Ruth (Glenn) Douglass, father Orville Werts, a daughter Wendy O’Donahoe and a son Scott O’Donahoe.
A celebration of life will be held from 10:00am until 12:00 p.m. on Monday February 26, 2024 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona with Pastor Landon Huie officiating. Internment will be at Prairie View Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
