Sandra Lee (Harmes) (West) Kraus born April 21st 1941 lost her short battle with cancer on November 2nd 2021. Our mother grew up in Onalaska, Wisconsin, graduated in 1959, and married shortly after graduation. She moved to Wauconda, Illinois where she raised her children Daniel and Dena. Sandy retired from Wauconda's United States Postal Service after 27 years. She enjoyed her retirement years in Taylor, Wisconsin in the beautiful home her husband Eugene built for her.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Eugene and her Infant daughter Donna. She is survived by her son Daniel and his wife Peggy in Mount Holly, North Carolina. Daniel's son Tyler and his family in Portland Oregon. Her daughter Dena Justo and husband Tomas in Genoa City, WI. Sandy’s grandchildren William, Lacie, and Whitney and 14 great grandchildren.
No services are planned. A private ceremony will take place at a later date
