Roy Mack Thomas, 60, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away on September 12, 2017.
Roy was born in Mississippi on December 29, 1956. He graduated from Waller High School of Chicago, IL.
Roy was married to Angela Marie Wilder on June 25, 2017.
Roy joined the Army in 1978 at the age of 21. He worked as a personal care worker in the field of mental illness for 25+ years. He loved the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Cubs, he also enjoyed playing basketball, watching movies, and spending time with his family and friends.
Roy is survived by his wife, Angela; his two sons, Jeremy and Matthew Wenz; brothers, James “JT,” Eddie and Larry; sisters, Lela, Louise, Dorothy, Mary, Deloras, Yolanda, and Pauline; and many other family and friends.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, James & Daisey Thomas, and his sister Josie Pearl Thomas.
The Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 South Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona, WI, with a Graveside Service to follow at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI. Pastor Tyrone Taylor will be officiating.
