Robert Nelson

Robert J. Nelson, age 95, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at his home in Eau Claire, WI.

He was born on August 19, 1927 in Lund, WI to Levi and Lydia Nelson.

Bob graduated in 1945 from Plum City Wisconsin High School. On May 3, 1952 he married Margaret “Marge” Bystrom. Bob was a dairy farmer for 10 years in Lund, then he moved to Ellsworth and sold trucks at the Farmers Union. In 1978 Marge and Bob moved to Eau Claire where he finished his career at Indian Head International.

Bob enjoyed time at the cabin, fishing, golfing and most of all he loved his family and the Lord.

He is survived by his wife Marge; children Craig (Pat) Nelson of Chetek, Judy (Ray) Narneson of Saint Louis Park, MN, Beth (Jeff Allman) of Rochester, MN; 9 Grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Margaret Nelson of Minneapolis, MN.

A private service will be held at a later date.
