Robert Gibson

Robert (Bob) D. Gibson, 90, of Eleva, Wi. peacefully passed away on January 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Bob was born at home on March 14, 1934, to Arthur and Margaret Gibson. After Bob graduated from high school, he then joined the army. While in the army he was stationed in Germany. When his time was up in the army, he went to work for Uniroyal for a short period of time. He then decided to buy the family farm from his dad, where he worked as a dairy farmer for many years until he retired.

Bob really enjoyed bowling, fishing, chatting to anyone, and all his dogs he has had over the years.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Beth (Charlie) Hreen; 2 sons: Dennis (Pam) Gibson and Gary (Jean) Gibson; 5 grandchildren: Jenna Gibson, Jeremy (Sami) Gibson, Heather (Joe) Werner, Aaron (Emily) Gibson and Brad Gibson; 3 great-grandchildren: Brixton Gibson, Wyatt Werner, Kinsley Gibson, with one more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his dad Arthur Gibson and stepmom Olive Gibson, his mom Margaret Gibson, his sister Lavonne "Bonnie" Gifford.

There will be an Honorable Military Graveside Ceremony sometime in August of 2025.
