Richard John Dekarske Sr
was born November 12

, 1946, to Albert and Vila Dekarske.
Richard graduated from Marshfield High School in 1964.
On June 20
th
, 1970, Richard united in Holy Matrimony to Nancy Seleski. To this union, they had 2 children: Richard Jr and William Alan.
Richard always had a special place in his heart for children. The love and care he had for them fueled his passion to support his grandchildren, Brandon, Kiesha, Priscila, Kiara, Ciera, William Jr, Kallee, and his great grandchildren, Everett, Everson, and Tilly Gene.
Richard enjoyed listening to old time country music, he relished in farming, hunting, and fishing. He loved looking at tractors, traveling to Tripole to his cabin and spending time with his sons.
Including places to visit Canada, Lake of the Woods to fish, King Fisher, Zippael Bay Resort, Cody WY, Florida, Las Vegas just to name a few. And he loved his rodeos.
Richard had an infectious laugh, told long stories, and short jokes. The stories he would share were entertaining and carried messages that you could learn from. He’s favorite phrase was “suck it” and “jeepers” when excited or expressive.
Richard gave encouragement, he was always knowledgeable, and his sons walked in his footsteps. Never throwing his sons under the bus.
Richard took you to places you’ve never been before, just to show you how big the world is. He would give what you asked for, and never asked for anything in return. He loved, unselfishly, with all his heart.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother.

, 2024. His legacy will live on forever in our hearts.
Richard leaves to cherish his memory: Nancy, Richard Jr., (Gracia) William, His Sister Betty and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Richard was deeply loved, very respected, and valued by many.
