Raymond “Ray” Gene Thomas
Ray G. Thomas, age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Care Partners in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
He was born in Eau Claire, WI on March 22, 1948 to Casey, Sr. and Grace (Ahers) Thomas. Ray enjoyed bowling and watching the Green Bay Packers. He also loved watching WWE wrestling on T.V.
Ray is survived by his brother, George (Patty); his sister, Iona Kolve; his daughters, Sheila Hansen, Michelle Hedtke, Melissa VanEpps and Tammy VanEpps; his grandkids, Jason, Tiffany and Jimmy; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Pamela Thomas; his brothers, Casey, Jr., Bill and Jim; and his brother-in-law, Nels Kolve.
A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy., Altoona, WI., with Rev. Dr. Philip Ruge-Jones. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Inurnment will follow at Brunswick Cemetery.
