Randolph (Randy) Belsky, 71, of Eau Claire, passed away on April 29 th after losing his hard fought battle with cancer. He was born December 9, 1951, to Quretta and Tom Belsky, in Mauston, Wi. Randy was raised in New Lisbon, Wi where he graduated high school in 1970. In February of 1971 he joined the Army and served in the 81 st Airborne out of Fort Bragg. He was stationed in Germany and Italy before he was honorably discharged in February of 1974. Upon his return home he apprenticed with a local home builder to learn the trade and built homes for several years. He was also an insurance agent amongst other jobs. Randy enjoyed hunting and fishing and dreamed of moving to Arkansas to spend his last years out of Wisconsin winters and doing a lot of fly fishing.
Randy is survived by two sisters, Sue (Nox) Seehafer and Denise (James) Fitch; son, Chad (Kimberly) Legler; grandson, Caleb; nieces Tara, Amy and Josie and nephew Christopher. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas Belsky, and mother, Quretta Belsky.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Sacred Heart hospital for the loving care they gave Randy in his final days.
There will be no formal service for Randy. We will have a small gathering in the future at his homestead, of which he loved, to scatter his ashes.
