Patricia Schindler

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann (Barber) Schindler, age 71, on February 10, 2025, at Grace Lutheran River Pines in Eau Claire, WI, under the compassionate care of St. Croix Hospice.

Patricia was born on May 4, 1953, to Maurice and Amelia (Bowe) Barber.

Patricia began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant before becoming a dedicated farm wife and loving mother. After retiring from farming, she continued to share her strong work ethic at Hutchinson Technology.

Patricia had a passion for crafting, loved playing cards and bowling, and was actively involved in 4-H. A true animal lover, she cherished all pets and found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.

She is survived by her four children: Terry (Kristina) Schindler, Tracey (Johnna) Schindler, Tonja (Troy) Rebeck, and Tina Schindler. Her beloved sisters: Jean (Mark) Rubenzer, Arlene (Harley) Christianson, Joyce Petska, and Carol (Mark) Bohl. Thirteen cherished grandchildren: Mitchell Schindler, Bradyn Schindler, Kayla (Eric) Geske, Alexis (Sam) Wold, Peyton (Zoe) Schindler, Nick (Kendell) Lemmer, Colin (Coral) Lemmer, Rylee Rebeck, Jordan Rebeck, David (Alysia) Kurschner, Sean Kurschner, Nikki Schindler, and Hannah Schindler. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Amellia Barber.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 1st, 2025 from 1pm to 5pm at the Bloomer Moose Lodge, 1890 9th Ave, Bloomer WI 54724.
