Patricia Osborne

Patricia A. Osborne (nee Backstrom) age 82 of Gordon, formerly of Fall Creek, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024. She was born on August 19, 1942 in Eau Claire to Elmer and Ethel Backstrom.

Patricia graduated from Fall Creek High School, the class of 1960. She was a longtime employee for Eau Claire County Human Services. After retirement, she moved to Gordon, WI.

She loved her family and was a "free spirited", spontaneous, unpredictable and caring person. Patricia enjoyed traveling, reading and was a food connoisseur.

Patricia is survived by her children: Scott (Elizabeth) of Evanston, IL, Wendy (Stewart) Flanery of Arlington, SD and Paul (Michele) of Oshkosh; grandchildren: Katherine, Nicole, Adam, John Markus and Dakota; brothers: David (Mary) Backstrom of Eau Claire, Tom (Sonja) Backstrom of Augusta and Steve (Linda) Backstrom of Birchwood; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brother Elmer "Pug".

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
