Norris Wahl

Norris "Rich" Wahl, of Fall Creek, WI, entered eternal life on July 14, 2020, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Bettina (Betsy) Wahl. Cherished father of Hank (Anna) Wahl, Kate (Kevin) Louis, and Brendan (Katie) Wahl. Treasured Grandad to Caecilia, Madelyn, Eleanor, Sarah, Gianna, Brendan, Thomas, Emma, Simon, Zelie, and a new grandbaby due in January. Brother to sister Noreen and brother Gary (Kim). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Norris Edward Wahl and mother Betty May Wahl and infant babies Mary Colleen and Nathaniel Adam.

Born in Somerville, NJ, Rich was graduated from West Virginia University with a BS in Forestry. He was honored to serve in the United States Army Presidential Honor Guard stationed in Fort Myer, Virginia, with the rank of Specialist 4 from January 1969 to December 1970. He married Bettina Dorcy in November 1971 and they were happily married for almost 49 years. Perhaps one of his greatest joys was visiting with his children and grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Home from 2-5 pm on Sunday, July 19, and 9 am on Monday July 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altoona, WI. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Monday July 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altoona, with a burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Eau Claire, WI, following the Mass.
