Noel H. Swartz, age 85, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Noel Swartz was born on March 11, 1939, to Rexford and Clara (Smith) Swartz in Augusta, WI. He was the youngest of 7 children. Noel grew up in the Eau Claire area and graduated from Osseo in 1958. After graduation, he married Geraldine Smith in 1978, they had 2 sons, Kenneth and Kevin. After Geraldine’s passing in 1972, he married Carol (Fortmeyer) Manor in 1998. He became step-father to Terry, Michael, Scott and Jeff. He most loved his family and enjoyed his 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He loved life, his work and cribbage.
His professional career in sales included Peter’s Meats, Jefferson Meats, Nueske Meats, Trudeau Distributing and Manor Sales and Marketing. His camping and retirement adventures included Alaska, Arizona, Texas and Europe.
Noel is survived by his wife Carol, sons Kevin, Michael, Scott and Jeff. He was preceded in death by his siblings Earl, Leon, Edith, Lois, Doris, and Lyle, as well as his sons Kenneth and Terry.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Saving Grace Lutheran Church, 3534 Jeffers St, Eau Claire, with visitation at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. The service will be livestreamed at https://saving-gracechurch.com/worship/sundays-live/ . Visitation will also be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy, Altoona.
