Michael Gene Semke, age 52, of Winona, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
Mike was born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, on May 21, 1969, to Orville and Sherry Semke. He spent most of his childhood growing up in a small farm in Melrose, Wisconsin. After graduating from Melrose· Mindoro High School in 1987, Mike attended Winona State University for a year before embarking on a 30 year career with Technigraph Corporation in Winona. While at Technigraph, Mike was well known as a very diligent worker and beloved by his co-workers.
Mike enjoyed traveling and sampling different cuisines from around the world. Closer to home, he loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and family, foraging for mushrooms, deer hunting, fishing, attending music concerts and sports of all varieties from auto racing to football (Go Pack Go!).
On May 3, 2014, Mike married Jamaican native Letisha Clarke. While continuing to work and live in Winona, Mike always came home to visit with his close friends and celebrate birthdays and holidays with his mother and father.
Mike is survived by his wife Letisha, parents Orville and Sherry, sister Patricia Soriano (Rojohn), brother Matthew Semke (Courtney), nephews Simon Soriano, Arlo Semke, Rio Semke, his niece Sarafina Soriano, and many cousins, uncles, and aunts.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Guardian Angels Parish, 507 Main St., Black River Falls, with Rev. Emmanuel Stella Famiyeh officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior at the church. Inurnment will be in the Sullivan Cemetery, Brockway Township.
