We are sad to have lost Mike Baer, of Eau Claire, who passed away in his home from natural causes around February 26th, 2024. He was 76.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Clement (Clem), his sister Mary Taylor, his brother David, his sister Angela Freeland, her son Jason and Mike's son Steven. Mike was a loving father to Steve, and is missed by Steve’s widow Rose and Steve’s friends.
Mike was the best friend of his ex-wife Alice, who kept in regular contact and misses him dearly, along with Alice’s nephew Doug and her brother Stan.
We wish he didn’t have to leave us so young.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Rest Haven Cemetery, Eau Claire. Please meet at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona at 1:30 to process to the cemetery.
