Maryann Petersohn, age 70, of Sheboygan passed away from covid complications on December 21, 2021 at Aurora Memorial Hospital under Hospice care with family at her side. She was born on January 18, 1951 in Sheboygan, the 5th child of Stanley Sr. & Zeta (Haggerson) Segalle.
She grew up in Sheboygan, married Ronnie Reineking and they had 2 sons: Troy & Brian. They divorced but remained friends until Ronnie’s death in 2021. She later married Eugene Petersohn and they had a daughter Tammy. She and Gene spent some years living in Sheboygan, then in Phoenix, AZ and then back to Sheboygan in later years. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting while in Arizona.
She is survived by her son, Brian (Jen) Reineking of Mauston, WI; her daughter, Tammy (Jason) Peterson of Peoria, AZ; 5 grandchildren: Tyler Reineking of Sheboygan, Heather Reineking of Colorado, Samantha Fellner, and Jaycee and Clayson Fellner of Arizona. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Michelle Klein of Sheboygan and Zeta Wernecke of Sheboygan Falls, and a brother, Stanley Segalle of Milwaukee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her son Troy Reineking; her brother Joseph; sister-in-law Marge Segalle; her parents Zeta & Stanley Segalle, Sr. Also Preceded by numerous other relatives, including a cousin, Joseph Radomski, late of Hurley.
She had a few special friends that she thought the world of: Jamie Stieglitz, Shaun Guenther, and her next door neighbor Karen. Also another lady named Karen and her son, Treyvon.
Per Maryann’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held in the spring. There will be no formal ceremony.
Maryann was always willing to help anyone in need. She wrote: “I wish love, peace and joy to everyone in my life”.
