Mark Prior

Mark Allan Prior, age 62 passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in Eau Claire.  Mark was born on August 11, 1960 in Neillsville to Allan Prior and Christine Bauman.

Mark married Susan Eidson in 1985.  They later divorced.

He was a strong-willed man that knew what he wanted.  Mark was a very caring person in his own way and it showed in the work he accumulated throughout the years.  He worked driving truck across the U. S. for the majority of his life and in the early years of his kids’ lives enjoyed taking them in the semi on long hauls.

He loved his kids and would take them on small adventures to movies, the zoo and the various parks. Mark tried hard to make his kids laugh and was there for their big moments in life.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going for long car cruises.

Later in life, he was willing to listen and take advice to aid him. Though he didn’t like receiving help, he would let them know he was thankful, that he cared and loved them.

Mark is survived by his children: Daniel Mark (Corissa), Steven William (Mary), Adam John and Hannah Connie Eun; siblings: Debbie Prior, Dean (Dawn) Prior and Beth Prior; his mother Christine Prior; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his dad, brother Kenny Prior and grandparents Calvin and Irene Prior.

He will be missed and remembered with the good memories and love he shared.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family.
