Mark E. Onstad, age 61, of Eau Claire, passed away on November 19th, 2023, under the tender care of Beehive Memory Care. Born on May 15th, 1962 in Whitehall, Mark was the beloved son of Joanne and Merlin Peterson. He was adopted by David Onstad.
Mark is survived by his children: Joshua Onstad, Justin (Vanessa) Onstad, and Thomas Onstad; mother Joanne Onstad; his sister Sheri Wood; and a brother Mike (Cindy) Onstad. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Merlin Peterson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023, at Stokes, Prock, & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Visitation will be 1hr prior. Interment will be held at a later date.
Though he has left us, his memory will forever reside in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
