Mark Eckes

Mark A Eckes, age 59, of Marshfield, WI, passed away suddenly and peacefully on September 20th, 2021, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.

Please help us honor Mark's life on Saturday, September 25th, 2021, at his daughter Allie’s house (201913 Day Avenue, Marshfield, WI) starting at 3:00 pm for a celebration of life gathering. We will start off with a short outdoor service followed by a time of fun, doing what Mark loved best; eating, drinking, and sharing memories around the campfire leading into the evening.

Mark was born August 12th, 1962, the son of Ronald “Ron” and Pearl (Moen) Eckes in Marshfield, WI. He was a student within the Marshfield School district and became self-employed through most of his life owning his body shop for many years and starting his own company where he invented several unique items.

Mark is lovingly survived by his children: Allie C Eckes (23) of Marshfield, WI and Amanda P Eckes (35) (Alex NT Hull) of Kansas City, MO, stepdaughters Kaila J Eckes (29) of Hewitt, WI and Karly A Eckes (27) of Ladysmith, WI, and his grandson Jax T Rothamer (6) of Hewitt, WI. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his father Ronald A Eckes and mother Pearl O (Moen) Eckes, his brother's Timothy L Eckes and Scott A Eckes, and his sister Dawn M (Eckes) Schneider.

In his spare time Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He loved to watch football and nascar whenever he could. The thing Mark cherished the most was spending time with his children and family. Those that knew Mark “Marky” “Markis” “Harley” “Eckel” “Herbie” who had so many nicknames from many people that loved him, will miss his smile, spirit, and his love for family.

Those wishing to express their sympathies are encouraged to do so, in Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting monetary donations to be allocated towards funeral expenses.
