Lyle Leroy Engedal, age 93, of Eau Claire, passed away on September 22, 2024.
Lyle was born on the farm in Fairchild, Wisconsin on March 9, 1931.
Lyle was married to Barbara Willier in 1955; they were married 46 years.
Lyle was a career military man and served in the US Marines. He retired after doing tours in Korea, Japan, and extended duty at NAS, Memphis. Lyle and Barb then returned with their family to the Eau Claire area. Lyle and Barb retired to Bloomer, Wisconsin where Barb passed away in 2001.
He is survived by his brother Jerry (Joan), daughters Karen Boyken (Jim) and Diane Harrom (Gregg), and son Mark. His grandchildren Lara, Graham, and Alexandra. Also, his many friends at Birch Point Resort.
Lyle was preceded in death by his mother Amy and father Leonard, brother Ben, son Brian, and daughter Brenda.

The Memorial Service will be held at 2 P.M. at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 8 th . Visitation will be held at 1 P.M. at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow the funeral at Rest Haven Cemetery.
