Lucille Clara Moeller, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Chippewa Manor. She was born in Dyer, Indiana on July 30, 1936 to the late Joseph and Adella (Marion) Moeller.
She worked at the Stanley Corporation for several years, then married Cletus Ederer on October 23, 1957 and began farming in Edson. She worked a few years at Lotz Factory in Boyd, drove school bus and helped several farmers in the area. She always said, "Farming is the Best Life." A Strong Woman willing to help Everyone. Sadly, arthritis got to be her enemy.
Together they raised seven children: Leon Ederer, Kathy (Mike) Sarauer of Chippewa Falls, Kevin (Laura) Ederer of Thorp, Jeff Ederer of Thorp, Dave (Shari) Ederer of Eau Claire, Lucinda (Jim) Kott of Thorp and Robert Ederer of Stanley. Cletus passed away in 1987.
Lucille married Bruce Rolland in April of 1990 in Boyd. She enjoyed several years of farming and traveling many states with him. They enjoyed all the scenery and loved out west the best.
She is survived by 6 children; sisters: Joyce Lewallen of Stanley and Margie Cornell of Withee; brother Rudy Moeller; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kyle (Karen) Winchell - Jayden & Riley Winchell and Kaden Gulich, Kurtis Winchell (Victoria Kubas Christianson) - Lukas & Ellie Winchell and Everly Christianson, Andrea Ederer (Kyle Lamarche), Arica (Dustin) Drager - Ethan, Amanda Moore (Brian Keller) - Rylan & Maci, Misty (Mike) Karlen - Raleigh, Desiree, Isabella & Mike Jr., Ben (Emily) Ederer - Addilyn & Benny, Joe Ederer (Sadie Buss) - Josie, Sam (Rachel) Ederer, Jake Ederer, Kelli (Matt) Turenne - RaeElla & Traeger, Kristen Kott (Zach Owens), Rebekka Kott (Waylon Copenhaver) and Elizabeth Mason.
Preceding her in death are her parents, first husband Cletus, son Leon Ederer, grandson Jonathan Kott, brothers Clarence, Nick, Art and Roger, sister-in-law Shirley Moeller, brothers-in-law Bill Herrick, Bill Cornell and Jack Lewallen, and her niece Dawn Moeller.
The family would like to thank the staff and everyone at the Chippewa Manor and Heartland Hospice for all their care and family support.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Symbal's Sunset View, W11407 Elm Road, Stanley.
