Lovell Edward Golden

Lovell E. Golden, age 93, of Altoona, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Grace Edgewood in Altoona.

He was born in Eau Claire on April 20, 1930 to George and Grace (Ridgeway) Golden.  Lovell married Karen Lawrence in Eau Claire on August 21, 1965.  He loved going fishing.  Lovell also enjoyed walking with his neighbor Marvin “George” Lemke; the two of them walked together for over 25 years.

Lovell is survived by his sons, Lee and Jeff Golden and Bill (Linda) King; his daughter, Carol (George) King; his grandchildren, Derek, Victoria, Tony, June, Julie, Bradley, Meghan, Myra, Maria, Caanan, Colton, Keats and Alyssa; his great-grandchildren, TJ, Kayla and Autumn; other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Karen; his daughter Joy Golden; his grandchild Angel; and his brothers and sisters.

Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, Altoona, Wisconsin, with Pastor Vameng Pha officiating.  Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Inurnment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, Lake Hallie, with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #53.
