Louise Natti
September 9, 1932 — March 20, 2024
Louise Marie Natti, age 91 of Fall Creek, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Grace Edgewood in Altoona. She was born in Stanley on September 9, 1932 to the late Lars and Josephine (Halvorsen) Thompson.
When she was a little girl, her mother passed away and Louise’s grandmother raised her. Because of this, Louise and her were close. Louise was good in school and when she graduated high school, she was the class valedictorian.
She enjoyed playing the piano and would help playing the organ at church during services. Louise graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in Education. Her first teaching job was in Port Edwards, WI. She also taught in Wisconsin Rapids. It was there where she met Melvin Natti, her husband. They would later marry in Eau Claire at Grace Lutheran Church. She retired in 2000 and moved to Fall Creek.
Louise enjoyed knitting, dress making, and could cook the best pork-chops. She also enjoyed making jellies and jams and taking trips in their RV out west with Melvin.
She is survived by her son Erik; sister-in-law Aune Olson; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend since college, Alice Punwar.
Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, brother Richard Thompson and his wife Bernice.
