Lorraine graduated from New Lisbon High School in 1951 and then moved to Sparta, WI. There she met Thomas Dwyer at a dance and they eventually married. They celebrated 50 years of marriage prior to his death in 2002. For many years Lorraine worked as a stay-at-home mom to their five children. In 1976 she began a 20-year career at Sears selling furniture and appliances. She had a strong work ethic and discovered she enjoyed being in sales. After retirement she volunteered for many years at Sacred Heart and the Paul Bunyan logging Museum in Carson Park.
Lorraine was an avid golfer, loved reading, playing cards, and shopping. She loved family gatherings and always had a good story to tell. She was the heart of her family in so many ways. We are so grateful for her wisdom, fun wit, warm smile, quick laugh and of course her love. She will be deeply missed.
