Lloyd O. Richardson, 78, of Eau Claire, died July 26, 2017 at Clearwater Care Center.
He was born March 16, 1939 to Mary and Melvin Richardson of Chippewa Falls, WI. He married Rosemary Ann Fullerton on October 11, 1958.
Lloyd enjoyed a variety of jobs in his life. Lloyd worked at Uniroyal in Eau Claire for many years before retiring to pursue his dream of being an antique picker and salesman. He was an American Picker before the television show of that name was even thought of. He loved what he did. He was also an avid fisherman and one of his favorite fishing spots was Braun’s Bay on Half Moon Lake.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his infant son Lloyd Kenneth Richardson, mother Mary Richardson, father Melvin Richardson, and sisters Patricia Richardson and Katherine Ward.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary Richardson; son Dale (Rochelle) Richardson; daughter Karen Patrow (Tom) Morley, and darling daughter Brenda Richardson; brother Merlin (Judy) Richardson; grandchildren: Jonathon Morley, Tyler Richardson (Shaina Soter), Jalean (Shawn) Larson; great-grandchildren: Sawyer and Nora Larson, and Lincoln Soter-Richardson.
A Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy, Altoona with Steve Hurd officiating. Visitation will take place from 10 am until the time of service Monday at the Funeral Chapel. A private burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire at a later date.
Lloyd was a truly beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was the leader of our band and will be greatly missed.
