Lawrence “Larry” F. Rumphol, of Chippewa Falls, died
Thursday, August 1, 2024, at
his home.
He was born in Eau Claire, WI, on January 14, 1944, the son of Lester and Lucille (Myers) Rumphol. Larry graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School. He worked for the Eau Claire paper mill until retirement.
Larry loved bow hunting and nature. Larry’s favorite exercise was golfing, especially with his nephew, Jimmy. He loved spending time with his brothers for morning coffee and casinos. He was most proud of his three daughters and their husbands. He also adored his grandchildren, Nate (Yulia) Janc, Kasey (Ryan) Swann, Rachel (AJ) Rutter, Maddi Kedrowski, Mitchell Goettl, and Evan Kedrowski.
Larry is survived by his three daughters, Leah (Brian) Goettl, Kris (Brian) Janc, Juli (Ted) Kedrowski; brothers Donald (Jean) Rumphol, Chuck Rumphol, Michael (Lois) Rumphol; sisters, Edith Eckwright, and Ruth (Mike) Walworth; and by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Lester, Robert, James and Bill; and four sisters, Evelyn, Lorraine, Janet, and Mary.
Celebration of Life will be communicated with family and friends.
