Larry Gleason

Larry Marcel Gleason, age 63, of Danbury, WI, passed away on December 17, 2024.

Larry was born in New Richmond, WI on January 28, 1961 to Marcel and Laurel Gleason. He graduated from New Richmond High School and continued to live in New Richmond most of his working life.

In 2017, Larry found it was time to head north. Larry and his wife Cheryl moved up to Danbury, WI on the Clam Flowage. He loved to ice fish and tried to get Cheryl to go out with him but only could once he bought an ice castle for her to protect her from the elements. mounted many keeper walleyes and northerns until Cheryl said they ran out of wall space. Larry also loved to golf. He was very proud of his hole in one at the golf course in Hammond. He was able to rope Cheryl in to golfing when he bought a set of clubs just for her and she ended up beating Larry a few times over the years. Larry loved to support his teams in Wisconsin. Cheryl knew he wouldn't be at the local bars when there was a sporting event going on because Larry thought the bars were too noisy and would instead be cheering on his team from his man cave, in his recliner with cocktail in hand.

Larry is survived by his wife Cheryl, his brothers Kevin and Dale Gleason, nephews Jeffrey, Cory and Adam Gleason, nieces Kim Gleason and Kristen Markham and many other family and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Marcel and Laurel.

The celebration of life for Larry will be held at 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. on January 28 at the 10th Hole, 7768 Cty Rd U, Danbury, WI.
