Kevin Michael Lynch, age 79, of Fall Creek, passed away at home on Sunday, June 2, 2024. He was born
in Shakopee, MN, on April 26, 1945, to the late John and Agnes Lynch.
Kevin attended Catholic schools in Shakopee and De La Salle in Minneapolis through the ninth grade. He
graduated from Shakopee High School and later attended St. John’s University in Collegeville. He played
football under the legendary coach John Gagliardi, participated in ROTC, and obtained a degree in
accounting while there. Following graduation, Kevin was commissioned in the United States Army and
received an honorable discharge after serving. He was a member of the Fall Creek Lions club and
volunteered with Meals on Wheels and The Community Table.
Kevin was a self-employed CPA who enjoyed working with his clients. He was a quiet, caring, respectful,
responsible, quirky, and endearing man with integrity and a strong moral compass. He loved his wife,
children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; sons Sean and Andrew (Cathy Erickson); grandchildren Natalie and
Cody; sister-in-law Melody Mendolia; nieces Jennifer (Jill Davis) Knutson, Marcy (Daniel) Gearity, Katie
Knutson, Madilyn Knutson, and Lauren Knutson; and nephews Erik Knutson, Brian (Mary) Knutson,
Matthew Mendolia, and Jack Knutson.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Barney and Rose Mendolia;
his sister, Kathy Knutson; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Knutson and Joseph Mendolia.
Kevin will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the Newman Ecumenical Center,
110 Garfield Ave., Eau Claire. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Doctors Without Borders, or to your favorite charity.
