Joseph (Joe) Franck – March 24, 1958 - September 26, 2024
Joseph August Henry Franck, age 66, a resident of Eau Claire passed away on Thursday, September 26th
at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire. He was born on March 24, 1958 in WoodruO, to Caroline
(Griesbach) and Norman Franck. He attended elementary school in WoodruO and graduated from
Lakeland Union High School. He worked at Pukall Lumber Company in WoodruO and Koxlien Brothers
Wood Production in Strum as a saw filer for over 30 years before retiring from Menards Distribution
Center Eau Claire.
Joe enjoyed spending his free time rock hunting, fishing, camping and watching his many grandchildren
grow up. His favorite hobby was finding antique treasures to admire or add to his inherited collection of
sawmill relics passed down by his father.
Joe was predeceased by his first wife, Carrie (Barney) Franck; daughter, Becky Batiste; sister, Paula
Broshar; sister in law Pamela Franck; parents, Norman and Caroline (Griesbach) Franck; grandchild,
Dylan
Joe is survived by his brothers, David (Cathy) Franck, Roddi (Pamela) Franck; ex-wife Rebeca Franck;
children, Joseph Adam Raymond Franck (Jane) of Bloomer, Jessica (Ryan) Mullaley of Weston, Jamie
Arms of Mosinee; step children, Lorinda Perry, Travis (Jennifer) Perry, Zacharie Perry, Stephanie (Steven)
Wampole, Alexsandria (Justin) Turk; grandchildren, Tristan, Carrie, Makayla, Taylor, Brady, Quintin,
Carter, Chloe, Jayson, Madelyn, Stella, Corbin, Jenessa, Jocelyn, Thea, Bryce, Raeann, Kora, Zoey,
Xander, Magdalyn; great grandchildren, Lilly, Evelyn, Mordecai
Celebration of life will be held at 12-4pm on Saturday, October 19th at the Strum Village Hall 202 5th
Avenue South in Strum, Wisconsin. A potluck luncheon will be served as we remember Joe’s life with
family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to the family for a future
designation. Cremation Society of Wisconsin is assisting the family with arrangements.
