John Lapointe
September 23, 1960 — April 22, 2024
John F. LaPointe, age 63 of Eau Claire, passed away unexpectedly from a sudden cardiac complication on Monday, April 22, 2024 in the comfort of his home. He was born on September 23, 1960 in Eau Claire to the late David LaPointe and Betty Flint.
John graduated in 1980 from Fall Creek High School. He was proud of his career, working for Bergman and then Farhner Asphalt Sealers for 40 years, making coworkers lifelong friends. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, snowmobiling, fast cars (and Chevy Trucks), time at his camper and land in Clark County, fishing and horseback riding. Most of all he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who asked. John was always there for anyone who needed it. The most loving and genuine person. The best brother, father and papa. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
John is survived by his kids: April Jnofinn, Nicole (Bryon) LaPointe, Patrick (Jade) Eaton, Justin (Azia) LaPointe and Nevada (Anthony) Gabriella; grandkids: Brayden and Arya Jnofinn, Lyla and Jaxtin LaPointe, and Landyn McDonald; brothers: Rick (Brenda) LaPointe and David LaPointe. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
