Jill Kenney
December 29, 1958 - January 18, 2022
Jill Marie Kenney of New Holstein, WI, formally McIntyre, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022. She is survived by her daughter, Megan Lombness (Justin), and grandchildren, Odin, Carmen Jillian, and Huginn; siblings, Gary Kenney (Jane), Glen Kenney (Sue), Gail Horwitz, and Amy Honerlaw (Steven); and their children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carol and James Kenney, of Milwaukee, WI, and sister, Karen.
Jill owned Jill Kenney Wallpapering and Faux Finishes for over 25 years and worked as a highly skilled painter and wallpaper hanger. She was respected and admired by her clients, friends, and family for her craftsmanship and artistry in flipping, designing, and decorating houses. Over the years, her own homes became display pieces for her exquisite work. With admiration and respect for its history, she remodeled a country-side, turn-of-the-century schoolhouse in Caldwell, WI and transformed it into a stunning and welcoming home.
Jill had a bold and audacious sense of humor, and an infectious laugh. She was a feminist, and was an amazingly strong woman. She was smart, talented, and giving. She was a dog lover and raised wonderfully sweet Rottweilers. Jill enjoyed sewing and made clothing and gifts for her grandchildren. A host for her family over the holidays, she was the woman who brought family together year after year.
Jill lived for her grandbabies and loved them tremendously. She wanted to give them the world. Jill was very loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
There will be a private memorial service.
