Jerry A. Hill Sr. Age 77 of Chippewa Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24th. He was born on August 30th, 1947 in Illinois.

He attended Wheaton Central High School and graduated in 1966. In November of that year, Jerry enlisted with the United States Army and went to Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in November 1969. During his time in the military, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Sharpshooter Badge (Rifle).

After his return from Vietnam, Jerry lived in Wheaton and the West Chicago area. He married Kathleen Raub, had 4 children and worked as an auto body technician for 25 plus years. The family later moved to Wisconsin in 1988 and became Turkey Farmers. He later divorced and never remarried.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was an independent man with a sense of humor. He had many skills and could fix just about anything. He was always willing to help others when he could. He loved his family.

Jerry is survived by his children: Jerry (Erin) Hill Jr, of Oswego, IL., Carl Hill of Rice Lake, WI., Brenda Guider of Cameron, WI., and John (Alizabeth) Miller of Rice Lake, WI., mother Gayle Hill; grandchildren: Matthew and Kristen Hill, Natalie and Amelia Guider, Karsten and Kalvin Miller; sisters: Marie Gabehart of Plainfield, IL., Kathy Hansen and Lisa Knippen, both of Florida. He is survived by other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Willard Hill and Geraldine Knippen.
