Jeffrey Becker

Jeff Becker, age 65 of Altoona, passed away on February 17, 2025 following a short, courageous battle with cancer.

Jeff lived the American dream. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, was a lifetime provider and citizen. He was a friend to many, a best friend to few and loved by all. His humor and quick wit will be missed. Jeff had loving parents, was a good son, loving husband, proud father and grandfather (Papa).

Jeff is survived by his wife LuAnne of 21 years; his father; Dean Becker; children: Nichole Becker, Christopher (Courtney) Becker, Sara Johnson, Jeremy Johnson and Melisa (Joel) Travis; grandchildren: Chris, Ivy ,Eden, Andre, Amaya and Shelby; sister-in- law Lynette (Mike) Becker; niece Naomi (Adam) Gamm; cousin Lori Lighthizer; mother-in-law Lois (Lowell) Olson; sisters-in-laws Joan (Don) Olson, Sandy (Herb) Endle and Cheri (Ed) Kretschmer; and Longtime friends Kevin Finch and Paul Wucherpfennig.

Preceded him in death are his mother: Joan, brother Mike, sister Kathleen, aunt Diane Chartrand. Father-in-Law Lowell Olson, Sister-in-law Susan Olson; and brothers-in-laws Don Olson and Herb Endle.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
