Jeanette Meisegeier
April 30, 1933 — December 29, 2021
Jeanette Marion Meisegeier (Shong) “Granny Jan” passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
She is preceded in death by her husband Warren Meisegeier; brother Art Shong; and sister Shirley Spaeth.
Jan is survived by her children: Pamela Larson, Randy Larson, Lorri (Dennis) Hellegers, Joey Larson and Jeff Larson; grandchildren: Natalie Hellegers, Nolan Hellegers, Kyle Larson, Jaxon Larson, Jenna (Rein) Puffer and Maggie (Mike) Wolf; and many great-grandchildren.
Jeanette enjoyed attending Peace Lutheran Church, spending time with her family, going to the casino (making sure to grab an ice-cream cone before leaving), gardening and camping at O’Neill Campground.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona.
