Edgar - Jane Pearl Freese died peacefully on January 18, 2022 after a battle with COVID pneumonia at the age of 62.
Jane was born on August 26, 1959 in Edgar, WI to Alfred and Ruth (Manecke) Freese. Jane worked at NCHC in the kitchen for 16 years. Jane was a member of Community Corner Clubhouse, Wausau, where she enjoyed the Tuesday night game night where she was the King's Korner champion. Jane was never much of a talker but she enjoyed listening to others. Jane loved playing cards and board games with her nieces and nephews as much as she could. Jane loved family gatherings or anytime she could go out to eat and be around people.
Jane was a member of St Stephens Lutheran Church, Edgar, WI.
Survivors include siblings Gloria (Jerry) Karlen, Eugene (Mary) Freese, Shirley (Dennis) Lang, Lester Freese and Terry (Tammy) Freese along with many nieces and nephews. Besides her mom and dad, she was proceeded in death by one brother, Kenneth Freese.
Friends may call from 9:00 am to 11:00 am until the time of service. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, January 28, 2022 at St Stephens Lutheran Church, Edgar. The Reverend Gail Sowell will officiate.
